In a press release dated May 23, US-based MSR MEDIA, based in Florida and led by film producer Philippe Martinez, unveiled further compelling allegations against a number of prominent individuals in St. Kitts and Nevis regarding the Caribbean state’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI) program, prompting the company to escalate its legal actions.

Despite commendable measures taken by the St. Kitts and Nevis government, including raising the investment price and signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with neighbouring countries to address underselling, MSR Media insists that more decisive action is needed.

New revelations from MSR Media’s investigations have revealed troubling evidence of compromised due diligence processes. Specifically, a Chinese company commissioned by Caribbean Galaxy, with the sanction of the Harris Administration, was found to have paid a percentage of its fees back to Ying Jin of Caribbean Galaxy. These findings raise significant concerns about the integrity of due diligence procedures and potential national security risks.

In the latest development, MSR Media has published copies of WhatsApp exchanges involving Attorney General Garth Wilkin, revealing detailed discussions about the “good scam” related to the Jail Project. These messages have been included in the lawsuit filings and highlight the need for urgent reforms and accountability within the CBI programmes.

More Trouble in Paradise?

Over the past four months, reports have emerged of Chinese citizens who obtained St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship being implicated in money laundering activities. In one case, a Chinese national with a St. Kitts and Nevis passport was involved in laundering US$1.3 billion of cryptocurrency. Despite MSR Media’s efforts to notify Prime Minister Drew and Attorney General Wilkin and recommend engaging a reputable international due diligence firm to reassess previously vetted applicants, no response has been received.

Furthermore, MSR Media expresses deep concern over the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis’s lack of action to hold accountable those involved in fraudulent activities related to underselling citizenships. This includes senior officials from past and present administrations who allegedly profited from these illicit practices.

In response to these ongoing challenges, MSR Media has taken legal action by filing two lawsuits: a RICO Lawsuit in the US Federal court against key individuals and entities, including Mr. Les Kahn, Mr. McClaude Emmanuel, Ms. Ying Jin, Dr. Denzil Douglas, Dr. Timothy Harris, Mr. Faron Lawrence, and Caribbean Galaxy; and a claim for judicial review in the High Court in St. Kitts, seeking to revoke citizenships granted under the Galaxy Jail project to applicants who paid below the legal price.

MSR Media continues to express profound concern over the apparent lack of action by the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis to address the wrongdoing associated with the fraudulent underselling scheme. Despite what MSR Media describes as clear evidence implicating senior officials from both past and present administrations in benefiting financially from these illicit practices, there appears to have been a noticeable absence of criminal investigations or other accountability measures.
